Help: What would you do

On a very seriouse not here. I have a guy thats wanting to trade me a 1997 dodge with a 8 inch lift and 38 inch tires for my 94 chevy with a afircan genered 350 in it. I told the guy what my truck consident of and he said he wanted it. here are the pics of the dodge

Yes i do. But all body work and rims tires and everything eles is on his. i figured out if i trade him i would break about equal. I just dont no if its a good deal. I figured if i get that and a couple years from now it blow up i would put a 12 va in it because its already a 2500

Looks like a nice truck... but you would have to replace the entire drivetrain to put a cummins in it. The SB (5.2 and 5.9) use a 46 series tranny which is 95% the same as the 47 behind the V10 and CTD, other than the bell housing bolt pattern.

You will have more into 'fixing it' to make it what you want, than you would just buying a 12v truck from the start. Wheels/tires and lifts for a solid axle truck are cheap and eash.
