I was only able to make one pass the other night, and I was wondering if some of the more seasoned racers might be able to give me some insight.

I ran a 12.36@ 113 on my first (and only) pass, and I'm curious if anyone might be able to give me some insight on what my truck should run if I get my 60 ft. times under control. The above time was with a soft launch and a horrible 1.98 60ft.

Thank you Sir! I picked up 5 mph over last year somehow. lol Next, its time to hook up the bottle heater and spray it! This thing better net me an 11 second slip before it snows. :roflmao:

Judging by your MPH with a good 60' you should be in the 11's without the bottle.

That would make me a happy man! Now I just need to get out to the track again and get my launches right. Maybe a little weight reduction is in order- I ran with my spare, tailgate, hitch, etc.

Thanks guys! This is the only second time I have been to the track, and the third pass in the truck, so I've got some learning to do. I lowered my T-bars, and clamped my rear springs, but i launched at like 10psi. I got a little nervous with the huge crowd of people at the starting line betting on races. lol Not to mention the fact that it was hard to even hear my truck spooling up with a full race car in the next lane. hahaha I never thought the track would be so nerve racking....I definitely have a new found respect for everyone that lines up!

^ just wish there wasnt so many people or i would have come run with ya!!!

you have plenty of fuel and MPH to make it to the 11's fuel only. i would go that route before hookingn up the bottle!

p.s. videos or it didnt happen!! :D :thumb:

Hahaha. Yeah, it was a madhouse. I got one run in like 6 hours...wtf? I knew better, but I paid my money anyway- oh well.

I wish I would've asked someone to shoot video for me- then I wouldn't have to try and remember how it left the line, did it spin?, etc. lol

I was looking for you out there, but didn't see ya.

I went 11.94 at 113mph wtih a crappy 1.87 short time. Its there. You just have to get it off the line a little harder

U can have twins/single making 800-1k hp and not make 11s. Gotta be able to drive it also. Takes some time to get the feel of it on the line and how to launch. I don't have 800-1k hp yet but I've found out just like u that its not as easy as it looks. But still fun either way. That's why I enjoy sled pullin so much. The rush is awsome.
