what turbo should i go with

will be doing some upgrading on my truck finally...will be getting the tranny done shortly..and was just wondering what turbo to go with...i was thinking of trents twins because there just 100% badass...but here is what i do so any help or opinions i really appreciate because im am lost on turbos..

towing constantly(heavy towing about 3 or 4 times a week)
daily driver
i wheel my truck on the beach offroad a good amount
like i said its my tow rig for my mud truck also

i would really like to hit 600rwhp last time i dynoed i was 450 on a buddies dyno not sure which kind..

motor is stock but i plan on doing some work next summer

twins for sure. Your gunna want the quick spool up for playing and the low egts for towing

love them. i would have done it all over again . i took it for a spin this past weekend to get the trans fluid moving in it and verify it still had low compression in cyl 5 :baby:. I really made me miss the truck bad listening to the twins spool up and the instant throttle response (even with stock gears and these tires). The fact i can tow heavy (trailer weight 12k+) on a 475hp tune and put my foot to the floor up a long hill without EGTs gettin over 1200 is what really got me.

yeah dont have that yet..plan on doing both at the same time or trans before twins...been saving up for both for a bit now

It is my humble suggestion that you do a build first then try a max effort tune for a bit...you may find that that will satisfy you for a while

I completely agree.

For only 600 rwhp it doesn't take much of a turbo upgrade, we've actually done it on a stock LLY turbo on fuel only and have a stock turbo LB7 that needs to hit the dyno to see how close to 600 rwhp he is. A bolt on Garrett 3788, or a 4088, S362, S364, S366 could all hit that number and if sized right spool as good or better than stock and have low EGTs.

well this is why i posted this post...im not familiar with turbos i understand what they do and how the work i just dont understand the right sizes for me

yeah i dont plan on it...but this will give me some time to save for some engine parts also...im pretty satisfied with it right now...my truck is one of the quickest local right now which is pathetic i know..but i just want to make it a little rediculose

going from stock tranny tuning to built tranny tuning is a huge jump. you'll have a grin for sure. then after that gets old. slap a couple turbos on her
