Started a new thread cause I dont want to highjack the other one I was asking in.

What time does everyone think I will run: dyno at 409 (425 tune) and weight would be roughly 6100 lbs. Elevation of track would be 40 to 50 feet, is that good or bad? Also it is usually pretty hot and humid here.

I should be able to run it down the strip within the next couple of months just waiting for the rain to go away.

It really depends on how well the truck launches and runs down the track. I'm guessing you should be somewhere around the mid 13s.

Is there any tricks to a good launch? Should I start in 1st or 2nd? I have adjustable shocks should I set them too stiff or not really worth it?

Well I finally found the 2011 calendar for the drag strip I live about 10 mins from and the first meet for the year is 26th of January (australia day) so Hopefully it doesn't rain and i'll be able to give it a run.

Anyone else wanna have a guess and we'll see who's closest.

Should run a 13 flat i guess.

Run the rear shocks hard, if you can get some road orientated tyres that will help heaps.

Let me know how you go, i have a extra special tune here you could try which should get you down that strip quicker. :secret:

Extra special tune, ha ha I like the sound of that. Do u reckon its worth running in manual mode and starting in 2nd or will it down shift when I stand on it?

Put a little old tune like Rat Killer in it. Run it in T/H launch in 2nd gear if a good old guy will give the TCM trick tune up. Hang on I'd love to see a video. Get some ass that's the goal. Good luck hope for no more rain.
