what should i run

finally getting the truck to the track for the first time on wednesday night after all the work its had done this summer and i am unsure on what wheels and tires i should run.I have the wheels and tire's in my sig and my stock pyo's with 245 70's on them i now the pyo's are a alot lighter but will the little 245's get enough traction.

sorry if i worded it incorrectly im wondering which wheels and tires to run not how fast i will run if the pyo's had 265's i would just go with them but the 245's seem so skinny im worried about traction issues but the 305 50 20's are alot heavier

Hmmmm. 245's didn't work well for us, the 285-75-16;s on PYO's seemed the best for us?

Hmmmm.... I vote 245's... traction will be a little tough initially... but it will help you out a lot the rest of the way down the track. Play with tire pressure...

I pull 1.6x 60s with my 305/50R20's
I have never ran 245's but have ran 265's on pyos. I think the weight will help you. Definitely play with tire psi. I usually run 15 in the rear and 28 up front with my 20's.

Theyre only 44psi max. I run 35 all around when im on the street. Believe me its enough to handle the weight.

Ran a 13.098 on the trucks second time ever down the track super excited 12's should be no problem
