My trans is starting to slip going into 4th and I'm trying to figure out about how much I'm going to spend. I'd like something that's going to handle 600-700hp. I'm in the Chattanooga TN area so if you know anyone in the area that would help out a lot. I can pull the trans and drop it off, also what would be a good converter for a street/strip?

4k range. Assuming you don't want billet parts. You don't need them for that range.
How far do you want to travel. If you're taking it out then you can just ship it. Or buy one and send yours as a core.
If you're going to dd I wouldn't go too far off stock stall speed. But that all depends what you plan on doing with it.

X2. Whoever you decide to have build it make sure they know what they're doing. It would suck if you have to pay for it twice to fix the first guys f-up.
