Trans is great step and is almost mandatory ,and after the trans is done these things start getting real fun once you can turn the wick up a bit but the best question to ask is what do you want to do with the truck ? what kind of power is your goal ? that's about the only way to recommend anything , there are 100 different ways you can build one of these trucks and no one way is right or wrong , but depending on the use's / plans for the truck some are .

I'm to the point where the next mod I would need would be a trans. My worry is still about the pistons. If I thought it would last at 500hp I would do the tranny. Trent what is your take on that issue? Anyway to help it/make it live?

id like to run somewhere in the 500hp range on the higher side if i could. I want it to be a good all around truck dosnt have to be the fastest but atleast give a good run. Itll still be my daily driver and ill tow with it. so what do you suggest?
