What seals the windshiel to the cab? Is it calking or tape?

Urethane. comes in a tube like caulking. takes 2 tubes to install 1 windshield.

Yes, urethane. Windshield replacement is best left to guys that do it all the time. Windshields on newer vehicles are actually part of the structural integrity of the body. It is a real pain to replace one, I've done a couple of them and it's a real pain to clean all the old urethane adhesive off.

Ok thanks for the response . I have a box of 3M 08609 im going to use once im done panting. Reason i ask is it looks like the glass was replaced using ribbon sealer (butyl like tape) at one time.
