Question: What oil do you use?

I'm brand new to diesels (I've only had mine for a little over a month) and am wondering what oil everybody is using and the change intervals.

I used Castrol and Mobile1 in my 04 Z71, but now I am considering going with the synthetic AMSOIL 15W-40 Heavy-Duty Diesel & Marine.

As far as intervals go, I've been told to change it once the "OIL LIFE" on the DIC shows 20-30%.

Just wondering what everybody else is using.

ROTELLA 5W40 synthetic every 10K miles with an STP filter. I found that I get the typewriter tick REAL bad with WIX filters.
