what manifold

Iv been looking into driverside manifolds for my lmm and i want some input. BD or merchant auto? their is quite a diff in price so im wondering why is bd any better than merchant auto? thanks guys

Without looking, I'm going to assume the manifold on Merchant's website is an LML manifold. Last I checked, they sell for less than $100 (1/3 the price of a BD manifold). The only benefit you get from a BD manifold over the LML manifold is the cast and pre-tapped boss for an EGT probe on the BD manifold.

so i might as well just get the merchant auto manifold correct? cant really see spending another 200 plus just becuase it has a tapped hole already.

The only added benefit that the BD manifold has is the thicker area at the flange which is tapped for EGT.

I had one before my profabs. I would not pay retail for it though. look for one used.
