After talking to a few people and re adjusting a few things i beilve we finally figured out the reason Snowflake will not hold rail pressure. We beilve the stick may have a high flow return which is causing her to drop rail pressure. I have the ported fuel rail fitting race vavle and thats about it. So whos injectors should i get the her

why dont you try a modded regulator first, thats a lot cheaper than injectors ;)

if thats not the problem then i will need sticks

no you dont.

build the trans Kurt. I dont know why you talk of all this other stuff, buy all this misc random crap, but then when trans comes up you say you dont have the $ for it?

My truck runs high 12's at 7680lbs, traps 106-107mph, has 83k miles on it, 3300us duration, PPE race valve, Kennedy lift pumps, and easilly holds 21,500-22,000 the WHOLE WAY down the track. I have stock original injectors. FIx your tune and get a PPE race valve. Your truck should be no different than mine.

What is your rail pressure while pulling or running it hard.

If the injectors are stock then you shouldn't need to replace them, definitely call PPE and have them send you a race valve, that will help a bunch.

I'd also mod the FPR.

Ben i have all these mods minus the kenedy lift pumps i run ppe lift pump. My rail pressure is 16,000 at WOT with Pump turned wide open. The fuel filter is changed and the pump screen is clean. I still have never had a pressure gauge hooked to the pump but i dont fill i need to. At ideal the truck lopes like a big block with a big cam in it. So i no the pump is deliverying enought fuel. I will try a lbz cp3 first. Then if that dont work we will go with sticks. The only reason i lead it to sticks is i beilve some of them may have a high flow return. Snow flake is no longer a DD right now she is a garage keeper in the process of being built. Sad part is at the rate we are going with working on this new pull truck and working on my 94 it will be 10 years from now before we get snowflake back on the road:D

Eric what i mean is i beilve my injectors may be bad as is. They may either have a high flow return or 1 or more of the bodys are cracked. Thats why im not able to hold the rail pressure

Shops that sell "performance" injectors are just extrude honed used nozzles.

That is not a fix for a worn out injector.

But if you get them "exchange", and the guy before you had good ones, you are set!

ahhhh, missed that.

Send them up if you want, I'll have them tested.

We found two bad injectors on Nasty Girl and didnt even know they were bad. High return rate that the dual fuelers and MITUSA covered up apparently.

Is that new puller coming today to kick Steve's ass at the pulls or was this another story?
Kurt are you pulling? I saw where you raced at 6800lbs so you should be able to get to 6750lbs :)
sorry it's off topic but Kurt did mention a puller above ;)

what are your balance rates kurt.

I dont understand your reasoning that bigger injectors will help get rail pressure up.

The p pump and all the goodies where not here for nicks truck so he was not able to make it. My new puller is being built. It will have a 26 inch hitch height 2wd and will be a outlaw diesel truck. Hope to have my puller going by the end of 08 i have to get my DD going first. 6750 is a joke Keith told me i have to weight 6200 pounds even if there was a way to strip my truck that much i wont do it. I thought the pulls where for everyone to make everyone happy. Singleing me out and putting me @ 6200 pound aint cutting it. So the next puller will be @ 26 inchs of hitch height like stated before. No the donate thread was not for shits and giggles its serious.

On a side note how did everyone do?
