Looking into getting some gauges. Specifically the autometer 2 gauge pillar withe the boost gage and the pyro gage. My question is are these good brand of gages? What kind of range should I be getting in my gauges and/or should I be going with the 3 gauge pillars.

Autometer is a top name brand, lots of people run them including me. It just depends on what you plan to do with the truck, as far as what gauges to get. I would say 60psi boost, 1600 pyro, and rail pressure if you plan to stretch the fuel system out. I only have boost/pyro, if I want to know something more I just grab the v2 and do some logs.

if i did it again i would make sure to get the factory match stuff, unless you want to change out all your dash and accessory lighting

i dont like the contrast, and the led bulbs in my ppe gauges dont dim at the same rate as my dash, it bugs me, but that is just me, the gauges themselves are great, just the light color doesnt match

I have the autometer phantom II's. on there website they have a pretty good Collection of photos of the different style gauges. I have mine tapped in to the instrument dimmer; if I had to do it again I'd probably get a separate dimmer for these because they are a lot brighter than the instrument lights.

And yes they are a good gauge. Only alternative to autometer I'd consider would be isspro.

I have Isspro EV2 pyro and boost in a Trippin mount and am very happy with them. I wired in the seperate dimmer so i can adjust them to the exact brightness i want and i would recommend using the dimmer too. I used the Trippin mount cause i'm not a fan of the pillar mount. Too ricey for my liking! ;)

I went with Autometer, and have been pleased with them. One mistake that I made was with the boost gauge. I got the 35 psi, thinking that I would never have a need to measure more than that. I can easily peg the thing now with my aftermarket turbo, and wish that I would have gone 60 psi in the first place.
