Had some high winds and about 3 inches of rain yesterday and last night, this was the result.

Glad no one was hurt. We had some of those come down the other day with winds in excess of 55mph. Scary deal.

Yep, high winds here too, no internet till about an hour and a half ago.

Remember the old song, " you better stay away from power lines!"

Road was closed most of the day. Power Company is just finishing up putting the new pole right now. And my power stayed on all day.:D Was starting to wonder, with that pole bouncing like it was all day.

We got hit pretty hard.
They recorded wind gusts to 92mph with extended winds in the 60mph range.

It got to the mid 60's ysterday & dropped 25deg in a few hours.

My power went out at 8:00pm yesterday & we got it back on at 8:30pm tonight. Over 70,000 people were still without power as of 6:00pm tonight. Initial reports were 90,000 yesterday. Got 1hr of sleep last night.

Ran 15gal of gas through the generator in a day just trying to keep the basics online... refrigerator, a 1500w space heater.

Had to keep the parrots room warm & fish tank heated.

Hard to believe the power required (1300watts of submersible pumps & heaters.) just to keep 300gal of water at 80deg for my fish tank in a 58deg basement. Put every blanket & even all my car covers on the tank to insulate it.

Some counties were declaring a state of emergency here.

Seems like the south west corner of the state got hit really hard.

1 area near Uniontown had close to 80 trees uprooted from the wind.... not much rain either.

Just glad it is over.

pull the engine side pipe and glow plugs rolled it over no water came out :D

fired it off with the said pipe off and coated the pass side with water out of the intercooler

got a couple flickers but now lose of power...

nice being on the leward side of the hills some times :)
