Currently have a set of genuine gm head gaskets for the lmm, only bought them because wasn't planning on building the engine. now that the engine is getting built (hopefully a few weeks off from receiving it). it will be ready to assemble. now i'm just curious if there is a better head gasket then the genuine gm i could run. or just stick to the genuine.

Looking at 800hp to begin with maybe more down the track with compounds. has 625 studs for the head, block and heads have been decked, with a glass like finish. so happy to hear any suggestions for head gaskets

My lml’s held up better than my stock lly heads (head cracked before the gasket gave out). That said, seen too many guys loose a lml head gasket.

Either mahle/victor reinz or the wave stoppers.

i have seen a few people running the wave stoppers, so might be the go.

can the wave stoppers be used when O-ringing, have had a few people suggest that i O-ring my block since i will be going near 800hp.

Yes sir. Either can be. I wouldn’t o-ring at 800 but won’t hurt to either. Heads will just need more resurfacing if you ever have to pull them for some reason
