Hey, we have an electrical problem here, the locking system in the truck went crazy. It locks and unlocks on its own and the remote lock doesn't work. It also keeps the dome light on which is the problem. That is on all the time, which runs the battery down. just yesterday, we went to start it, and the battery was dead . What fuse do we pull to keep the dome light off?

I think its the cig lighter fuse. You have a BCM problem it sounds like. You might try to clean all the ground cables between the body and the frame.(never hurts to check:D) Or maybe check all the connections on the BCM.:dontknow:

Under the dash right by the steering column. It's the only box under there with plugs going to it, unless you have a remote start in which case it's the bigger one. Open the door, lay on your back in the floor, look up.:D It's a box with three big plugs and a small one on each end if I remember right.

Few pics of it.:)

Just in case you're interested, when you take off the knee panel the bigger plug on the passenger side has a green wire in it. Unplug it and the door dinger goes away.;):D But the door will lock with the key in the ignition after you do this though, but the dinger will still work if you leave the lights on and stuff just like it's supposed to.

Oddly, it seems we have found the problem. Dad noticed that when he got near the truck with the remote locker, it went crazy. So he took the battery out of the remote and it hasn't done it since, so I think it is a bad remote.
