ive been playin with the idea of debadging my truck, about a month ago i took off the 4X4 decals to put some new ones on but i liked the way the truck looked with out them so i havent done it yet, now im thinkin full debadge and remove the step bars, also all the stickers on the back window and possibly a roll pan, do you guys think it will look good? also the molding on the bottom of the door, the thick black piece, how is it mounted? if its bolted then im not gonna do this

thanks

Pull everything off. It will look better. The door molding is help on with the same shit the moldings are held on with. It is like a two sided tape. Very easy to pull off and clean. Hope this helps.

Mine is debadged completely, lowered 2", step bars removed and I have a roll pan to install when I get around to making a custom hitch to hide behind it. I think it makes it really clean looking, most of the time (car ignorant) people won't be able to tell you what is different but that they like the look of your truck.

What your saying you want to do to your truck is all already done to mine with the exception of the roll pan that i'm currently test fitting. So I approve:cool2:

Do it!!

I plan to debage and remove the molding too, but that's as far as I'm going with it. I like the rest.

It would look good.

Mine came with factory smooth flares. I would like to remove the mudflaps but they have rubbed the paint on the flares too much and I don't feel like paying for the touch-up work until I have something else that needs painted. A hair dryer or even better a heat gun helps remove all the badges and especially the thick moldings. But in the sun on a hot day should help too.

My trucks debadged except for dmax adge, painted handles, rollpan, no moldings and no step bars. It looks so much better after doin all that crap. Also its lowered about 4.5" in the rear as well so shes easy to get into and looks good on 20's:D Also Curtis I have some H2 wheels for sale if you want some cheap wheels.
