Here I go:

Billet bar Grill
Billet Bow tie
Paint chrome center bar and bumper to match factory
Leave headlight clear but delete the amber, get clear or smoker clearance lights

Dont black it all out, you will need to break it up somewhere, do it with the billet.

paint the bottom plastic to match top plastic.

Get some black wheels with a little chrome or billet color in them.

Do rear bumper as well.

Loose the antenna or get a shorty black one.

A little window tint will bring ot together too, you dont have to limo them, just a light shade all the way around to darken the cab up a bit.

I can go on and on but its your truck....

Turning all the crome black was the plan but I had never thought to replace the gray valance with a black one. A billet grill was also a thought but I had yet to see one that I like untill I saw Wana's truck. And of course, they can't be found any more. I was thinking about smoke cab lenses but I have never seen different head lights for these truck. I probabaly havn't looked very hard.

Here is the rest of the truck. My plan for the wheels is to sand blast the crome off of them and paint or powder coat the centers black and have a polished lip with crome/plastic center caps and crome lugs. I don't even like these wheels so if I don't like how they come out I hear scrap aluminum is paying pretty well these days. Some MT's are also in the works for this winter. Getting rid of the badges on the tailgate will happen this winter. There is a small dent in the tailgate so we are going to repaint it. Thank's for the sugestions so far.

Continuing...lol

remove side steps
Also paint fender flares black with the rest of plastic (better smoother look)
remove side molding (if paint is not scratched up too bad that you'd notice them gone)

Is there anything about my truck you would keep? Painting the fender flares is something I never thought of. Not sure about removing the moldings. The steps stay.:cool2:

The more I look at the side picture of my truck the less I like it. Something needs to happen.

x2 ,iwould debadge also. i would also wait to decide on the wheels till you get the other things done, they are nice wheels , in my opinion small wheels look even smaller when black, i love black but the have to be big 18" or better .btw we have all given critisisum but your truck is good looking as it sits the look just doesnt fit the performance you have added to it .

I think that the badges and moldings, and lover valance to black have to go first then lets look at it again. i think you need some chome so i would leave the grill area and bumper alone and maybe the wheels also.

This is what I wanted. I wanted it to look like a work truck with some wheels. I don't think the guy in the other lane with the C5 corvette expected a work truck to spank him so hard. I just think it is time for a change.

What did you use to paint the truck in your sig?? Did you take it off to paint it or tape it off real good?
