TX of course
I'm at a year at my new company things are still going great. I've doubled the size of my crew and need more equipment, so I can hire more people. Just can't get any equipment right now just like everything else. I normally run 3 bulldozers and was down to one for over a month. Couldn't get parts and no loners big enough available.

Just a cool picture of my trackhoe working in the fog.

A little boo boo one of my drivers had. Did about $20k in damage, but we think a failed suspension component caused the rollover.

A "little" pond pond we had to pump down to expand. I had a 6" pump runing wide open 24 hrs for over 20 days.

That’s bad ass!!

My daughter has no interest in hunting. We will see if my boy gains any lol.
She was in the blind with us when he shot that one and was as excited as me. She said she wanted to shoot one, opening day of rifle a week later we went, he filmed it for us. We were in there less than 30 minutes and that one came out, she said she wanted to shoot it and I didn't care. She used his .243, it was awesome!!!

Gearbox and PTO shaft are made, got to make a shield for the shaft now. The gears came out of an angle head for a Dremel tool.

Got the bush hog done and back from powdercoat. Hanging out with the other implements I've made through the years.

Tom, just remind them without you, there would not be a new generation of them. Keep that bar high and make them reach for it. Keep up the good work.

BTW, that bridge is 24 months behind schedule (not my fault), but still had the interstate open in 7 days as promised.

Off to the next adventure(s). I am starting on 1 possibly 2 this week.

Teamed up with another foremen to knock some work out faster. As soon as I get my guys on the job he takes a 2 week vacation..... No nothing I can handle, but when you talk about doubling your production overnight staying ahead of the work gets interesting. Especially with all the breakdowns we were having. We were moving 15000 yds a dirt A-day. We dug this pond in a month.

One of my managers found this hidden in an old desk last week. I can remember giving these away back in the late '80s/early '90s when our air service was "taking off". So this little airplane is about 30-35 years old.

I happened to notice it on a shelf in the office this morning and asked if I could have it. I just think its cool. I love planes, too....so thats a bonus.20220920_190353 (2).jpg20220920_190418.jpg

This storm rolled into the area this afternoon. Was building from the north, and the lightning coming out of it was very impressive. Wouldnt you know it.....I was heading right into it. As I was heading back to the building later, this same storm was a torrential downpour. 20220920_163044.jpg20220920_163048.jpg20220920_163052.jpg20220920_163054.jpg
