I am in the process of building my 02 LB7 to be a better and more reliable performer. Think I am eventually going to build it to 400-450 HP and 700 lbs/ft. What CP3 would you guys recomend for this??? I need to replace the CP3 anyways as mine is weak and not buliding the pressure it should be so might as well get the right part for down the road.
I was thinking a stock LBZ pump would work?

Stock LBZ pump will do what you need, and then some. I made 425HP and 745 ft-lb at the wheels on a stock motor with the stock 285,000 mile CP3, and 1 failing injector. Just a tune, intake, and PPE boost increase valve. No smoke either!

So once you get your new CP3 and working injectors, you should be at your performance goal!

I think I will start searching eBay for an LBZ pump for cheap... Anyone have one for sale? What air intake do you guys recomend? I plan on using the Air Dog II for a lift pump FYI.

Well, so far no luck on eBay. I am trying to excersise patience here for a great buy but I would like to have this thing so I can put it in the same time I get my PS injectors.

So far just EFI Live (20-20 Tune) Havent had a ton of time to play with it but I am very familiar with EFI as I have been tuning LS motors for about 6 years with it. Just ordered a LBZ pump... Supposed to be here Wed. (Mine was dying so I figured I would order for the future) Replaced DS injectors and have the PS on the way... Also arriving Wed. I think when I can afford it the first thing I am doing is an exhaust, and after that an intake... MORE AIR!!!
As far as Audio goes... I have a 6.5" Kenwood DVD Nav Unit I am putting in along with a JL 300/4 Amp/6.5" JL XR Components, and a JL 500/1 Amp/3 10" JL Subs in a custom box for under the rear seat. Should be pretty loud!

By the way... I just drove down to Florida and back... When I was almost there something went terribly wrong!!! I am pouring fuel into the crankcase... Like about 5-8 gallons per fill-up! Limped it home as I had no other choice. I think that the PS injectors fully bit the bullet since I replaced the DS and now there is probably more stress/pressure on the them. Didnt hurt the bearings (Tough ASS motor), changed the oil and pressure is tight where it should be with no loss in power. I do however now need to replace the rear seal. Tomorrow I am going to pull it apart in preperation for the new injectors and pump and see if maybe the return lines arent leaking too. 5-8 Gallons per 200 miles seems to be a ton for just bad injectors.
