LB7: What Could Be Leaking

My buddie just called and said that the whole driver side of the motor is covered in anti freeze. I just cant figure whats on that side to be leaking that much almost all the coolant lines are on the passenger side any ideas. its on a 01 thanks.

Make sure the crossover tube on the front of the head isnt leaking, along with water pump, waterpump tube to the oil cooler, lower rad hose or even a turbo coolant line that may have split and is shooting it across to the driver side

I guess it was the water pump. He took it to a shop and they are replacing it at 900$ :spit: but his usual daily driver is down because of a deer and that's all he has left to drive so I kinda needed to be done ASAP.

Shops will do that... It's an $84 part but in order to get to it you've gotta take off the fan shrouds, belt, fan, and balancer, which usually requires removing the starter to block the flywheel (unless you have the bellhousing stopper tool). Took me 4 or 5 hours the first time I did one.
