All I got as of now is bags but plan on putting in a 5 gallon tank with on board air at each wheel well housing for air tools and filling of tires if need be. I had the little Air Lift basic compressor and it lasted for about 4 years so Im not all that mad about it. I just want something alot faster but not super fast. I will not be filling my bags off of the tank so its not instant air. Im looking at the Viair Dual 400C. Anyone running this?

I also would LIKE to keep these outside the cab if possible. I was thinking of running them in a vented box or just a battery box mounted to the frame rails somewhere. These have remote filters so I could run those in the cab or somewhere else.

Opinions.....

You need to look into air zenith. Mostly used for air-bagged mini trucks, but its a damn good compressor. I've had viars and I like them but I like the air zenith better.

I used to run dual Air Zenith compressors on my mini truck. They would fill 10 gallons pretty damn fast. They worked awesome. Wiring is key also (for any electric compressor); they draw a lot of amperage.:thumb:

Explain to me what duty cycle is. If I get dual 400c's then the recovery is greater and price is cheaper than 1 Air Zenith but duty cycle is lower on Viair.
