Today while replacing my alternator I noticed a few areas with leaks, but don't know what they are. Tried to take pictures at a distance as to show where in the bay they are. 2006 Chevy 2500HD LBZ.

The first 2 next to the turbo is from the pcv system letting oil vapor sucked into the turbo housing and seeps out of that boot. Completely normal. The other looks like the hydro booster might be leaking but hard to tell

Photo 1 turbo hot side pipe (intercooler pipe) pcv system causes it to appear that's it's leaking.

Photo 2 turbo vane position sensor. Probably just needs cleaned up.

Photo 3 is hydra boost brake booster..

Looks like you could use some time at the car wash under there..

What I anyways do is go to the car wash, leave the truck running put my quarters in and select tire cleaner, spray the tire cleaner all over everything under there. Close hood to first click, rinse truck off with high pressure water. Re open hood and rinse engine off well with high pressure water, repeat soak and rinse until desired effect.
