I want to thank Chris "The Neens" for installing my GT4094R this past week. It took us 3 days (those DAMN UP PIPE BOLTS). Chris even missed seeing his Mom on Mother's Day to make sure I was able to get home. You could say I felt pretty awful, but that shows how good of a guy he is.

And thank you Simon, without your help(on your vacation) it wouldn't have been finished by last night.

And thank you to Dale, Ralph, Tommy, and Jason. It was great to meet all of you guys.

Also thanks a lot Pat for giving me that Y-bridge.

This install went as rough as it could have. Every bolt, pipe, and piece all except for the Downpipe was a real bitch. Yesterday morning at 8am Chris and I started working to finish the damn thing. I didn't leave Chris's house until 9:30pm IIRC. But I can't thank you guys enough for helping me out.

OT it was great to finally meet Pat, and Kat. You guys are one of a kind. The party was great, and so was the Absinthe ah Pat:D

Chris is a total badass. He has helped me a ton on my tuning. For future reference those of you who are planning on doing turbo installs it makes life easy to start spraying those uppipe bolts about 3 days in advance with some good penetrating lube. Did you have any problem with the drain tube being to short?? Ive had that problem on a few of the installs I did. Nothing a carbide bit cant fix real quick :D. Congrats!!!!

Nothing being too short, just ran into a problem with the intake not fitting properly, and it would have helped if the kit came with instructions. Atleast a "tips" page or something. And yes penetrating lube even the night before would have helped a lot. But damn does that GT4094R sound unreal. I liked the VVT hissing but now this thing sounds so mean.

i know when you crack those things loose you have to check to see if they actually dide come loose or if the socket just cracked in half haha. yeah my shoulders hateeee me from taking my buddies 4088 out and putting it back in this weekend. nothing like laying on the motor on torquing on those stupid bolts.

the top-side creepers are nice, seen and used two diff kinds,
it's a love/hate relationship with the wheeled one, you'll have a differant view of it when it slips and you rack your wedding tackle on it:mad:

FWIW, I had the best luck removing the up pipe bolts when I attacked them through the passenger side wheel well. Lots of clearance and enough room for a cheater bar!

Nick, I think Tommy may have broke the motor mounts:rofl:That whole block was moveing

the best was when Ralph was under the truck and Tommy jumped on to start wrenching:eek:
