I made 5 passes from 13.6 to 13.8 at 95 mph - 96 mph , all with 1.8 60 foot's.The truck was running good until 80 ft before the traps. It seems as if the truck just died as if someone just turned the truck off. I checked the ppe programmer for speed limiter and i had it set at 120 mph, the tire size i had it set at 30 inches. Any help , please....

You dont need dual cp3 setup yet IMO. I would address the rail press drop issue first, fix that, make some runs in low 13s then think about twin cp3s. I think your pump isnt flowing what it should. How much psi is it putting out? You can adjust the PPE pump from the large screw on the side. 1/2 turn clockwise will give you another psi or so. Maybe turn it up a lil.

i talked to dan at ppe and he said it's time for a twin cp3 setup.

revised, i talked to dan's assistant yesterday and he told me about the twin cps', i talked to dan today and walked me thru some steps on the tuner cause he did not think that, he believed it might have been a speed limiter of some sort possibly.

henry, i cant seem to get the speed limiter off, i have it set at 150mph, i install the revised tune and still at 95mph about it cuts off, i know its the speed limiter because i can be cruising on the highway at 85-90mph and hit it and as soon as i hit 95ish it doesn't go anymore. So it is not a fuel problem its a speed limiter problem.I am gonna install my other tuner in tomorrow and see if it does the same thing. If it doesn't , i know its with the tuner .

i forgot to mension that i had a 3/4 tank of fuel, and a loaded weatherguard toolbox in the back.i didn't pull any weight out at all. The truck should go 13. 20 or better the way it is ( less weight and a better 60ft, 1.7 or better)

What size are you setting the tire size at and are you setting the rear gear also when you change speed limiter are you doing the whole reflash.I have ran around 130+ cruisin with that tuner.

I set it at 150 mph speed limiter, the rear axles i have them set on 3:73 gears, tire height is set at 30 inches.I installed the new settings by pressing yes when i changed them then i installed the tune.

Hopefully, the tuner changes makes the difference.

There is no reason with a bit of weight reduction and some practice that you shouldn't easily be running 12's.

Hey Guss what size tires are on your truck 245's 265's 285's ? Have you found a nice area of hwy to open it up and see if you can get over 100 just cruising down the road.

well i know its not my trans or rail pressure because i installed my old tuner and the truck is going over 100mph.So it might be someting i am missing or maybe it is with the ppe tuner.I did an update and i am curios if i didn't install everything.

i am curious to know if it had something to do with the update, maybe everything was not installed. When i plug the ppe tuner in on the display it says the tire hieght that i set it to, the rear gears i set it to, and the speed limiter i set it to.So this leads me to believe that i might have to do the update again because if this didn't do this to you henry, it has to be the update( wasn't fully installed). My old tuner just took me flying past 100 mph where my ppe tuner stops me at 95mph(while i have it set at 150mph)
