Reason I asked, because if it chucks a rod, you buy the WHOLE enchileada. We watched Mr Magoo grenade his LLY at Cal Speedway, and it SPEWED oil. Nothing was saved but the transmission and accessories.

PVC blowby is cracked piston(s) most likely.
