Allison 5sp: well i think its toast

ok i have been having weird prob with my truck lately. when i pull up to a stop light it would go in to limp mode the code is p0776.
the internal trans harness had been leaking into the main transmission connector, so last night i replaced it with a new harness. inside the pan was clean a little bit on the magnent but not much. also changed the filter while i was at it.

i went and drove it in would still do the same thing. this morning i went and got in output speed sensor i heard that can cause weird symtoms, i put it in and went out and drove it, then i thought to myself what will it do when im hard on it. so i did a 2wd lunch with about 10psi spins the tires in first but when it hits second it slips bad. also at a stop light it will shudder a little.

the transmission is some what built here is the list of what it has.

howard tripple lock convertor
red eagle clutchs and kolene steels
transgo shift kit
the trans has about 40,000 miles the convetor was rebuilt last year when i built my motor so it only has about 28,000 miles

so any input would be great

In reality you don't know what you have for a build. Your guess is as good as anyone elses. Doesn't sound good.

I'm having the exact same issue with my 02 Duramax before and after my tranny rebuild. Did you ever find a cause? I've been trying to fix mine for 2 years, in and out of local shops, finally broke down and replaced the clutches, steels, apply pistons, and torque converter myself. After the rebuild it's still shuttering a bit and after a few stops limping when I roll to a stop and throwing a p0776 code.
