Hello fellow duramax owners. New to the forum and need some help.
I recently replaced my fuel filter head due to some pressure issues, while I was at it I obviously replaced the fuel filter. During the reassembly process I broke a wire to the WIF sensor. I bought a new sensor put it all together, but now I'm getting a "water in fuel" message on my dash. Truck runs fine, like it always has. No change in idle or performance, just keep getting this message. I bled the filter through the sensor and got now noticeable amount of water. Could this just be a bad WIF sensor? No water in fuel message before, just after I changed everything. Truck is 04.5 LLY a if it makes any difference
Thanks for the help
