after a few hard races my trans strated to act an shift real funny. It also clunked like it had a bad prndl switch but no codes or range shift inhibted message??

So the 1-2 bout breaks my neck when it shifts unless i have it hammered (stuill shifts way hard)
an the 3-4 feels like it flares an slips in at any throttle??
an when the converter locks up the truck jerks but then talkes off like a bat outta hell:confused:
Any ideas? i didn't build the trans myself had cam hulse do it he's built alot of these so im pretty sure he did good:confused: it supposed to be a suncoast stage IV an with such small power levels not sure how anything would be pushed passed what it should handle?

You forgot to include the fact that this trans has been shifting non-defueled for the last few thousand miles, could be a bit of info that may be helpfull.

yep bout 3 thousand lots of that freeway miles and me an mike_s tunred it off one day(mike dosen't like no defuel but we didn't have alot of time to do tq tables) an just never got back to puttin the defuel on. the tqc had this issues before and after having no defuel so that part doesn't matter there an maybe we'll turn the defuel back on though i hate how it shifts that way. still think something else is up cause the other shifts are just fine. Also no tires spinning tires way to much damn money:D

by the way guy who built the trans runs no defuel on his trucks that run more hp then mine imo:confused:

Who's stupid idea was that?

LOL! I tried to talk him out of it...but he said no, ha ha. Not sure this is the cause of the issue, but I believe it was an accelerator of the underlying issue. This trans has never really functioned right, IMO. If indeed the builder used a suncoast kit, the 500 ish HP mafia is producing shouldn't have phased it at all, but never the less, it is letting go slowly.
