Kind of stumped after this truck, 03 lb7 with 80k on it here for injectors. I always use LDS injectors stock size for this application and also resealed 4 cups while it was apart. put a fass 150 and cat filter head on under the hood. Changed the oil and fired it up. For some reason it's rattling really bad and smoking white, almost like it's out of balance or something.
Cyl 7 is +13 balance rate. Rail pressure is where it should be and no codes. No blowby either.
After that I took it apart and did a full valve adjustment and checked pushrods, they all looked fine and set them to .012. I switched injectors 7 and 5 also for testing.
Engine quieted down some but still smoking white like crazy and cyl7 is +13. I can shut off #7 manually and nothing changes, while if I shut off other injectors it'll cause a major difference. No codes on the dash and oil pressure is spot on. No cups leaking either. Any help ?
