Weird issue.

Ok so I was driving down a road yesterday with pretty deep pot holes. Few miles down the road my throttle response went to shit, like stock tune or something. Turbo wouldn't lite like normal. After I got to my buddies house shut the truck off, went to leave and it ran fine again. Anyone have any ideas? Haven't had a chance to look into it yet. Hell I wouldn't know where to start if it stopped doing it.

Limp mode ran threw my head but I thought if it got limped it stayed that way til it was fixed or cleared. Yea it was reduced power. Idk what could've caused it I have been pretty hard on my truck before and never limped it. Can you even limp an efi live vehicle?

Wish I had the cash to burn right now cause I need a v2 bad!! Ugh :banghead:

I mean it could have gone into reducedower mode. Mine has done that once or twice, and iirc after restarting it it was normal

Any information on why it did this? Would the bumpy ride cause it? Sorry I'm just trying to understand. I haven't had this happen before, even some pretty hard burn outs at high rpm and egts.

Check the wireharness right at the the alt.There is a bracket there that wears into the harness and starts grounding out.Or you may have had a ground make and break conection for a split second and limp the truck but alowed you to continue on to your stop.Once you restarted it was reset as said.Good luck.
