bought a 2019 used truck 2 months ago and am getting used to the truck, and i have a question.

Occasionally when i make a hard stop or an abrupt stop, i feel what feels like a clunk, (almost like something slid forward in the bed). When i proceed to go, it accelerates fine. Is this normal or am looking at the makings of a problem. Doesn't do it alway but have felt it a few times,

Thanks all

Double check the rear leaf spring bolts are torqued down tight. Known for being loose and causing this

More often than not it’s a lack of grease on driveshaft splines. Also, at around 3/4 tank full, the fuel will slosh in a way that makes it feel almost like a clunk.

I just solved this on a friend's gasser. Ubolts at the leaf springs were loose as hell.

the old sticky yoke issue isnt what it use to be from years past. For some reason GM did not tighten the ass end of these trucks down right and it feels just like a sticky yoke.

Id check the leaf spring bolts and u-bolts. thats fixed every one ive seen.
