I've tried this before but I'll try it again.

Last year I got down to 204,y lightest ever and I'm 6'1. I'm really interested in ways to get fit and stay fit. I've tried alot of new things and one of the major problems is a work out routine. With that being said. Id like to tranfrom and get to that 200 mark again and possibly get some help from you guys. I have a local gym that I work out at. I work out 5-6 times a week. I do lots of cardio to keep the fat off as much as possible. Don't do much lifts yet because I honestly don't know what I am doing. Any insight or web sites to start getting a routine down would be awesome.

Bodybuilding.com used to have great articles and workout plans. That's what got me started and where I am today

Did you see they are charging 8.99 a month for plans. You can still get the workout off of the app but on the website you can't view anything but the basic overview unless you shell out. I was pissed

I guess I'll be come a memeber and start learning off from that, just was looking to see if anybody had any ideas of what is good and what is not for work outs. I feel as if I have pretty good leg strength, just want to lose some weight and get rid of some excessive fat up top and tone up a bit. Bigger arms, shoulders and chest. Possibly tone up my back too.

I started off with Jim Stoppani shortcut to size...loved it. I think Corbin did it as well but can't recall for sure. He has a shred program and a strength program. Johnny candito, kizen training, kris gethan all have good programs. Mark bell as well

Candito is free and works.

I’m currently using a paid coach. He does on line training as well, Jesse Norris. He’s local to me now so that’s nice having in person input but we still got shit done over the net when I lived in Fairbanks.

With that being said if you don’t know how to lift properly hire a trainer from your gym to show you good technique. Typically your power guys are going to have form and technique down pat, or they get hurt. So look for that in a trainer.

T-nation and YouTube has tons of good info.

Jesse Norris has a YouTube as does Johnny Candito. They both go into form and technique as well.
