With you in it? If so that seems light for a CC at near stock weight....

But then again I have not weighed mine so I'm just going off things I read here and there.

I thought by law all scales used for resale had to be certified. You could go somewhere else to double check though.

well i know for a fact, the 2 scrap metal yard i use isnt right here in az. our flat bed truck weighs 8500lbs according to a CAT cert scale. one scrap yard scale claims it weight 7300, the other claims 7800. this is after unload. all they use it for is difference in weight from when you went in to when you emptied out to you can get your total for junk and be paid. the regular dump here claims it weighs 8,100 lbs so i doubt they certify them much here in az :roflmao:

Our quarry says one thing, the scrapyard says another, same with the dumps just as said above. I need to take mine into Link-Belt for a certified scale as soon as I can.

That's fine but my point is all scales have to be certified for resale. They could be out a bit because no one bothers to zero them out but that generally adds weight. I've just ran into a few people that think that Cat scales are better because they are certified. If your buying and selling product your scale needs to be accurate. :thumb:

On average mine weighs 7680lbs with me (200lbs) in it, B&W gooseneck hitch, and my toolbox in the bed.

So basically 7480lbs. If I took the toolbox out and had an almost empty fuel tank, I could probably get it down to 7100lbs without me in it.

My truck (CC/SB) weighs in at 7190 lbs. Thats with 2 - 10lb N2O bottles, a 8 gallon water/meth tank 1/2 full, no spare tire, 1/2 tank of fuel and me(250 lbs) in it.
