I took trip to Vegas at 8-19 July with my lady, and we will get married there.
I would like to get suggest what is good place for it, and also other sights for the trip.
This is my first trip to USA, so everything will be new :thumb:

Oh boy man! You're in for one helluva vacay!! I went to Vegas for the SEMA show and loved the place. I don't remember the places I went to or anything but that's another story lol!! I'm sure many members from here will chime in and steer you right. Congrats on getting hitched! Hopefully she'll still let you spend on the truck(s):D

I have been living with this lady last 8 years with no problem of building trucks or bikes, so I believe it will go same after wedding too

Lots of places to get married, just pick one.
Best Hotels are The Rio, MGM Grand, and The Bellagio.

Have fun, there is too much to do, do NOT carry any cash over $50, use credit cards so if you get robbed, you can cancel the cards in minutes. Also keep a spare card hid in your room or luggage. People get robbed every second there by pick pockets.

Nicest hotels are Aria, Cosmo, Caesars, The Wynn or Encore. Aria and Cosmo are the newest, very nice places, been to room at both and they are badass. Had a suite at Caesars and it was very nice also.
Also on weddings, it all depends on what you want. I just got married a couple weekends ago out here out at Lowes Lake Las Vegas and it was beautiful out there. A number of casinos have chapels, a friend of mine works at the one at Mandalay Bay, it is also very nice. The are a lot of places you can get married and it not be on some cheesy wedding chapel married by elvis, unless that is what you want, no harm in that.
Vegas is a nice place, been here 11 years, some of my friends longer. It's a big little town. And btw, I have been on the strip countless times, drunk and not, and I have never once been robbed, threatened, beat up, stabbed or anything. There are weirdos, just be smart.

And congrats. :D

Yeah, but . . . cheesy since 1940:roflmao:

When living in Las Vegas, I attended many weddings with my out of town friends. There's a place for every style & budget.

I gotta' agree with you, the strip is pretty safe. Metro does a good job & the NRA wants everyone to come back, again & again.

Couples have always dreamed of grand weddings and set on places that are surely topnotch but there are times that simple trips with spontaneous people would lead to something like this. I am also part of the group who got married in Vegas some years back and though it was more like a fun thing, it sure was something that would be memorable and would probably last a lifetime.

I go to Vegas once a year. Never had any problem out there either. Usually stay at Treasure Island but this year our group switched to Monte Carlo. If you go to MC stay at Hotel 32.:thumb: Also stayed at Ceasars a couple times and it was kick ass.

Have lunch and drinks at Cabo Waba Cantina. Nice corner to sit and people watch.

I had a room at the "Hotel 32" over New Years Eve and all I can say is WOW!

Thanks people:thumb:
I have been married once before and had "big wedding" that time, so now is time to do it in different way.
This is my first time in Vegas (or USA) and I dont know much of travelling in there.
How is hotels booked there in July, I plan to take hotel booking for few first days so I know we have some place to be after flight, and then just moving other places we maybe find and want to go. So do we have to make all hotel bookings before trip, or can we go more like "where do you want to sleep tonight" attitude?

Hey we are not all like that :frog:

I have never had a problem in Vegas with anyone harassing me. The couple of times I have won large jackpots, I have even had offers to have security escort me to my room, if I had wanted to put the money in the room safe.

I think you can pretty safe that you don't have to make reservations and get a room if you find someplace you want to stay.

I've been to Vegas myself and always felt safe on the strip. Didn't go off the strip so can't offer much beyond that. Same can be said out here on the East Coast there are creeps every where. I've been to NYC more times then I care to count never had a issue. Also Atlantic City

As it was said just be smart and you wont have a issue.

Go see the Hoover Dam while you out there!
