Got Honey?
Mine is metal, what do you mean fix the elbow inlet? I have the elbow that came with my turbo. The stock one is long gone.

the wrapping looks good.

You need to remedy the big ass restriction just downstream of the AFE tube. Take off that "mouthpiece" and look at it. You'll see what i mean. It's not that hard to remove.

Consider that at full throttle, 800 cfm of air moves through your insulated tube at 100 mph. Through conduction, convection and radiation combined, how much heat do you think it can pick up in that 0.02 seconds it takes to go from the airbox to the turbo? FFT.:)

beach_33,
I haven't fixed the "LLY compressor efficiency issue" yet if that's what your're refering too.

Killerbee,
Where can I find a pic or somethin' because I don't get what you mean by "mouthpiece"... and just to clarify I have the LLY with the aFe and NWTDIESEL has the LB7 with a MAC tube and aftermarket elbow. We weren't sure who you were were talking to . I know for a fact NWTDIESEL has no restrictions. ;)

The stock VGT, and the Cheetah will both gain 10-15% MAF from the IOH Kit. Also will gain 4-8 psi of boost performance, while running lower shaft RPM.

It replaces the stock LLY mouthpiece with a modified, larger mouthpiece.

There are economy gains as well, 1 mpg minimum so far.

Thanks! That's alot of good info. I'm going to look into it further but the hand machined LLY mouthpiece looks like a good fix. Thanks again for the help.
