Alright so over the winter I am gonna build up a water to air system for my truck. I have searched a few forums looking for anyone that has done a system for a daily driver play toy.
My plan is to run a frozen boost cooler (#INT000215) and mount it where the stock air box would be. I would then replace the stock air to air cooler with a full size rad with the same physical size but maybe a bit thicker core if I can find something. I figure this would be more than sufficient to keep everything cool. There would also be a small reservoir that would get mounted in between frame rails behind the bumper along with the circ pump. It would be a good time to make up a small ice box also for pull days. At this time I may also switch over to the Taurus electric cooling fans too.
My original plan which could still happen was to build my own set of twins but with the rules from the area I pull in, everyone can go all out in the pro street class and I just don't have the funds to keep up. So I like building my own stuff so I figure this would be a fun project to try and I could always add twins in the future.
I know it probably is pointless in the long run but I would really like to prove it can be done and be effective.
So if anybody has any other suggestions that would work or changes, im all ears. thanks
