notice a drop of coolant on my garage floor yesterday. Looked underneath and the hose going into the water pump was wet on the back side. Today I got underneath there and was completely dry. I ran it around the block to get it hot and only thing I can see was possibly a bolt? to the right of the weep hole had a 1mm wet spot on it. here some pics n c what u think...
coolant level is slightly lower than where it suppose to be. The weep hole is clean inside from what i can see.

welcome to the wonderful world of waterpumps. You can reuse the crank bolt, I know many people who have.....just get the torque correct.

I have re-used mine twice now, and TRQ it to the impact capacity:eek: I think its suppose to be around 250 FLBS IIRC.

they said they couldnt get it to leak while they had it, but said it was a well kept truck and didnt have a problem replacing it if thats what I wanted. So they put a new one on and sent me on my way.
