Any one brand better than the rest? It seems Delco has been hit or miss in past few years on regular gas engine stuff for me so didnt know if one brand was better or all the same with the duramax. Not really looking forward to this repair. Would I benefit from doing the egr delete and/or pvc reroute with whats taken off with the wp replacement or is it not so much? Never had to work on a diesel before so its gonna be new experience for me.
Also I have not got around to a full diagnosis but coolant leaking at a good clip from bottom drivers side oil pan from above. Cant see exactly where as I have not put much effort in it (until tomorrow) but Im willing to bet its the WP. Thats usually where they leak right? 126k on the LML now.
