Water Meth Tuning???

Bought Snow stage 2 water methanol and installed it last night. I have it set to start injecting around 15psi and started out running the 2x625 nozzles it suggested in the instructions. I only ran it for a few quick 1-3 runs and it sounded like it had a knock to it. Does anybody have any tuning advice that has run this system before? I'm thinking about downsizing one of the nozzles or just running one, or maybe running a lot more water in the mixture. Open to advice!

Whats the timing on your tune? Whats the boost settings u have it starting and max? I also started mine about 12psi and max at 38. That way it wasnt ever maxed. I also ran 35% mix

When I played with that stuff with my LBZ, I ran 50/50 on Nicks max effort stock turbo tunes, and I had to back off the timing ~3-4* across the table. I left the injection pulse the same.

Mine had a knock to it also when I had it set at 12. Then I turned it off for the rest of the trip and got slight tick that turned into a horrible knock, followed by tons of white smoke & raw fuel smell.
Hopefully I just cowincedently lost an injector at the same time and the W/M didn't cost me an engine..

I think thats where I had mine set with 3100Us, maybe a degree lower. The rattle was more pronounced during turbo spoolup, so I had to play with the timing in the low rpm's are well not just overall.

So maybe my issue isn't quantity then, since I'm only running 2 nozzles. Ill have to set it to come on more like 18-20psi and see if that makes any difference.

I ran the snow stage 2 with 2 nozzels. U might have to play alittle with your timing. It will make your engine sound different forsure tho.
What do u have it set at for max? U may want to bump that up alittle like 34-36 instead of 28-30. Thats what i did on mine to stop the knock. I did like the kit, saw improvements and would use it again if i didnt have my twins.

I adjusted the start psi and the max psi up a little last night. Seemed to make a difference and still pulls. I plan on increasing the max boost a bit more tonight. It is a little tough to tell where exactly it is set so I'm fine tuning.

Made 540hp no meth. Flicked the switch and jumped to 570. Had absolutely no fuel knock at 27* of timing. Had the 2x625 nozzles in but the max boost was set at 50 or so psi so the kit wasn't spraying 100%. EGTs definitely climb slower on the street as well. Overall impression is that the water meth was worth the money. Simple straight forward install and definite gains on the dyno, street and egt gauge.

Haven't been to the track since I installed it an probably won't til the spring. I figure 30hp should get me a tenth or two. It definitely pulls harder on the street so it should help on the track.

I know from experience that when I had my snow kit on a prior vehicle with dual nozzles. That if you set the start spray to low it won't atomize the mixture there for creating a raw mixture of water and methanol goin into your intake tract. That will cause a slight misfire or fuel knock. Just turn ur start spray up like you seem to have done already. And have the full spray at like 25psi or so. You don't want to hydrolock your system by allowing a ton of water meth that isn't atomized into your system! Although it would take alot of that to happen.

The kit starts spraying around 18psi. I currently have it set so max boost is around 50 so it never fully turns on the system but there is no sign of knock so I'm going to adjust and add some more.
