I would drain it and then change it as soon as possible. If the wif message comes back pretty quick I would maybe look into draining the tank also and change fueling stations..

most likely just a short in the sensor wiring unless you've been in a lot of deep water lately. Used to happen on my old 96 Dodge 12V I had when it rained a lot and I drove a lot during the rain. :D


But yeah, I'd certainly change & check your filter.
