So i recently changed my fuel filter for the fist time since i bought the truck about a month ago. And when i put the new one on i over tightened the water sensor on the bottom and cracked it. So i got a new water sensor and put it on and put the filter back on and plugged the plug for the sensor in and now my water in fuel light comes on intermittently.I'm 99% sure that i have not gotten a bad batch of diesel because it happenedonly after changing my fuel filter. Has anyone else had this problem? All help and input would be very much appreciated. I have a 2001 Chevrolet LB7 with Cold air intake and 5"straight pipe.the truck also used to have An external fuel tank.

One thing I have noticed is that the molar plug that is on the water sensor pulls apart very easily. But if I hold the plug together the light still stays on. But in the morning i will look deeper into it and see if i can see any damage. Thanks for the input. I'll let you know if i get it figured out in the morning.
