For what your doing I would reccomend a JGS 50mm.

I can not imagine what kind off drive pressures you see infront of the GT42. I have seen as high as 100psi with mine and I dont have a bigger turbo stuffing more air in.

I have 2 100lbs guages with taddle tales, and i bent the taddle tale on the small charger so it wrapped back around to 0 pretty hard

Engineered Diesel makes some pretty slick gates

They resell the JGS.

I can beleive that. I have maxed my 100psi gage with just a single.

I bet you will a good improvement in how your big turbo spools with the gate as well as lower drive pressures in front of your 42.:cool2:

Yes, thats what im hoping for, what are my mounting options? Well i seen what trent wrote, are there kits available, or is it pretty much custom set up?

Are you using the PPE mount kit for you GT42? If so it has a 2" spacer. You can drill into that then tig weld the the mount V-band on. Then you need to run a exhuast tube from the gate outlet to the hot pipe going to the GT55. That will be custom but not that bad.;)

I think that we will get a stainless V-band flange, weld it to the spacer that is on the 42, and then plumb it into the hot pipe. While we are doing all of this, I think that there will be another 50 or 60 mm wastegate put from the hotpipe to the actual exhaust so we can really tweak the small and big one both...

Plus have to see how all the internals on the tranny are holdin up... So far so good.:)

I think you dont need wastegate big charger. Anyway you want all boost it can give and tune pressure with small chargers gate. If there is too much boost with big charger alone, you can lift throttle
I have keep big chargers gate closed all the time with my earlier twins, this last system I didnt even install it anymore because I dont need it.

I tend to agree with this. Most huge chargers don't have a problem overboosting. This is not always the case with smaller twins but hohlds true most of the time with large twins.
