Why not get Mikes cooler?

Haven't heard anything about that. Or just get one from summit.

I made an lbz cooler work on my lb7 no problem but i have the alligator trans cooler lines so it was a breeze, factory lines are crap.

Was on sale last month 335 or something like that. Don't know if it's still happening or not.

Upgrading an 01-03 isn't quite as bad as the mid 03+. 01-early 03 used 1/2" pipe tap fittings into the extwernal trans cooler instead of -10. The kits you linked to use the earls cooler like you see posted here used by many. just make sure they have the correct fittings to put it in your truck as the 03+ cooler fittings will not directly work with the earlier trans cooler lines if you still have OEM lines. There are fittings that will work, just have to make sure they are the right ones. I have an 01 cooler, but I modified the mounting tabs to work in my swap, so it wouldn't just bolt into a stock truck anymore.
