I am new to the site. I would like to chip my 2003 duramax. Not sure what to go with. The Bull Dog ?? Or the Edge. Ihave the 285/75/16 for tire size. And the truck has about 91,00 miles on it.I don't do a lot with the truck. I have a 32" 5 wheel and want better fuel mileage out of it.
Please Advice.

I have used a bully dog and didnt care for it. but the fuel mileage was the best with it. then went to a Banks 6 gun with speed loader. I did like that and it was great for towing. now it sits on the shelf if you would be intrested in that. as I went to EFI live.

If you aren't wanting to go all out and have full tuneing capabilities that EFI would give you, the PPE is the Best bang for the buck.

Fill our your Sig so we know excactly what the truck is

Stay away from both Bully Dog and Edge for your LB7. PPE Standard or Diablo Sport are great handhelds, and EFIlive if you want to tune it your self.

X3

By tune it yourself we mean have a tune custom written for your truck by the EFI Live vendor that you purchase from and then having the capability to do your own tuning or have some one else tune it. EFI Live is infinite in possibilities and can be used to tune for any future modifications.

Also depending where you are a near-by tuner/vendor could tune your truck with one of their EFI Live units and install a switch for switch on the fly tune changes for a fraction of what EFI Live will cost you to buy. There is also the option to send out your ECM to be tuned by EFI Live vendors.
