Please tell me where? I just paid 1400 for mine. 1050.00 shipped is fair.
Ngm diesel has alternative fire cams in tool steel and billet steel in their grinds for $1275 iirc. Not sure if retail or what. Was on fb a while back. Not sure why any other brand would be considered at that price. Especially when his stuff out guns them.
Verified this morning tool steel and billet steel are $15 difference from him. His cams are the in top 2.5,2.6 and 3.0/pro mod pullers. They are #1 in dyno comp, and also drag. He don't advertise is his problem. Sorry to upset you just trying to be a help
Wades tool steel cam is more expensive than the billet cam. Not by a terrible amount. His cam profiles are pretty good cams as well. I haven't personally used one if his to give testimony to it's direct comparison to So Cals cams but there is a lot of similarities in some profiles. Wade can and will offer more grinds and flexibility within a grind as well. I know most here do not like Wade and that is putting it lightly but he is very knowledgeable of what it takes to make a duramax perform at a very high level and is a fairly decent person. The 9100 cam that is being sold here is at a fair price as well. I would not give it away either. I'm almost certain it cost him much more than what he is asking. It would not be the most desirable Street camshaft though. It is a good competition camshaft.

That is why I removed the 9100 cam in my truck. Guy did a cam for me that fit specs that he and I talked about. It's smaller than the 9100 but I believe performs better. So you know that certain specs could be the same or near the same and not perform the same because of the valve timing event being different. Most guys don't understand that and think the selling points or numbers given to them may not represent what will happen when they use that cam. Good luck with your sell. All the sled pullers are using bigger and mostly better items than the drag racers do anyways. They use the sky us the limit mentality. Drag guys are more budget minded.I agree with most of above, I've spoken with Wade numerous times and will most likely do business with him someday on some parts. A pulling truck lives and dies by the turbo....head flow has some effect and cam has some effect on performance, but when running a larger single, the turbo itself is the life blood and power the engine will make... I just didn't want him "sales pitching" in my for sale thread:thumb:... I spec my own cams, not a number someone else gives me or wants to sell me... That is why I removed the SoCal 9100.
And Waglers hot street cam is more aggressive than the SoCal 9100, lol...food for thought

Tool steel AND billet steel? I don't believe it...
It is pretty healthy when it comes to duration. Lift is higher than most as well. It is more than you need on a diesel truck if you want to drive it around and be efficient. Bigger is not always better and Especially when it comes to camshafts. Matching the right parts is where performance shines.A Socal 9100 is not that big in the world of camshafts. Also, more than likely the same company makes socals and ngm's cams:thumb:
