I was curious if anyone has found a stronger/better suited v-band clamp for the inlet of the VVT. The stupid hose-clamp setup GM has works ok for stock trucks but with twins Id like it to have a tighter/stronger clamp.

I have a Toman VVT inlet aluminum flange and its shaped a little differently than the stock mouthpiece flange. :( It is slightly too big/thick for the stock v-band hose style clamp...I wish it was shaped more like the stock mouthpiece flange...hmmm

the one I have is a little "special" but its not really broken.

The main thing is the toman mouthpiece flange could have been shaped more closely to the shape of the stock mouthpiece v-band profile/flange......

Ill make it work though, probably end up grinding down/re-shaping the toman flange so it fits into the stock v-band clamp better.
