As I was heading down to the store to grab some supplies to paint my bowtie, I figured I would try Vinyl before I painted them. Grabbed some vinyl from the mall and went to work. It was a P/A, but it turned out. What do you think? I'm going to finish the rear bowtie up tomorrow and Sorry for the low quality pictures, I will get more tomorrow as well.
Well here it is
Tools:
Before:
Cleaning the Bowtie with Alcohol
Warming the Bowtie for better adhesion. *Warning: you can bubble paint if not careful*
Applying the Vinyl one side at a time
Another Picture of applying the Vinyl
Pressing the edges down with my finger
Warming the Vinyl so it wraps its self around the bowtie
Ready to start cutting
Carefully follow the groove of the bowtie and cut off the excess vinyl
Squeegee the bubbles out
FINISHED
