I am having problems with my flywheel and starter, so I popped the viewing window on the bell housing to look at the flywheel. Well it was a suprise to me, but you can't really see the flywheel from there. Not a big deal as I had the starter off already, but I noticed something...
The outside of the torque convertor was all scratched up. The scratches just look like they took the paint off, nothing major so I wouldn't normally worry about it EXCEPT I'm having flywheel and starter issues right now.
Would the torque convertor scratches be normal from installation, or would that be something more serious? I've never looked inside the window before so I don't know what I should expect. Like I said the scratches are very minor, and I wouldn't worry about it except for the fact the gears on my starter have worn off and the flywheel is starting to get fooked as well so I'm wondering if they are related???
