Winston went to a truck pull at Four Oaks, NC on April 4th. They only broke it down by weight and had a 7500lb and 8200lb class. He ran in the 7500 lb class then only added 140 lbs to run in the 8200 lb class. He got a full pull in both classes and let out before the sled stopped him in either. I think the closest guys behind him was in the 260-270ft range. There wasn't a very big turnout at all but we were trying to support a local tractor pulling org that is trying to get trucks involved.

Then on Saturday the 18th we went to Morgan's Corner for their first pull of the season. There were 9 trucks in the mod class, 8500lb weight limit. We were the only ones that didn't hang weights. There were a big group of Fords from Twisted Diesel Performance out of Virginia, most of them with ALOT of mods and nitrous. Twisted Diesel was also sponsoring the class. Wade's (jdlover) dad pulled with his truck and had a defuel problem. It seemed to be a tough track and a tough sled - the longest pull was 289ft until Winston pulled 325ft to win it.

I cut the video short as the guy was saying 325 ft:

In the showroom stock gas class an 08 2500 with a 6.0 and my tuning took 3rd but I didn't get it on video.

Can't wait to get mine back up and out there.

He was still hazing pretty decent down the track but we are still working on the tuning.

SoCal Stage 2 heads
Cut and Coated LB7 pistons
Crower Rods
Head Studs
Stock keyed cam
Keyed Crank
T3 A5K
2 stock CP3s

Just a basic budget build that we picked up with a broken crank and rebuilt.

The Four Oaks Sled was too light and the Morgan's Corner sled was a heavy slow SOB in the Mod Class - they had the spikes fully extended. Winston still hit fourth and got a nice full pull though.

Winston spent the weekend in Salisbury, NC at another sled pull. Won the 2.8 class Friday night and Saturday night. There was a Schied built 2.8 Dodge there; Winston put over 20 feet on him Friday and 7 feet on him on Saturday.

Heard that Travis did well in the 2.6/stock class (with an S480?) on Friday. Ed had some problems Friday night but took second on Saturday in the 3.0 class.

Crongrats to all.
