The tune is coming along great. The truck ran very strong until the sled hit hard at the end. This sled was stopping everyone dead in their tracks. The other Dmax in the class had an A5K and the sled brought him off boost so fast it looked like he let out of the throttle.

I didn't go because last I heard, there would more then likely be no Duramax's there pulling. And I have seen more then enough cummins pull.

yeah our cousin doesnt seem to think the truck left 2nd gear and he claims the tune isnt making any power but i think the tune is running strong

Hey guy's, Don't want to hijack the thread, but how is this tune overall. I'm ready for a step up. Now that I have lift pumps, My quad tune is horrible on the defuel at the 3 and 4 shifts. (I have to get EFI live, yesterday. It was laying down on fuel so bad before that it was not noticable. Is the tune steetable. I appreciate your response. btw that was a really great pull in the video. I'm sure the guy on the sled said " SON !!!, that's a lotta gettie-up-go, right there". Thanks, Steve

mcrat/dieselpilot/and i all wanted this tune based on pulling/drag racing/ and daily driving....this tune does all 3 and does them well...we are still fine tuning it for daily driving but it is coming around and behaves very well on the road with little to no smoke unless WFO... i have pulled a 18 foot bass boat with this tune and got great fuel milage and lower than stock egts... it makes good boost and doesnt peg my pyro guage
beware this tune will most certainly eat a stock tranny fast!! but shifts great through all gears and is way better performing than the quad 215 alone... if you get efilive from mcrat im sure we can give you a bite of our salad

Thanks for the info. I'm gonna order EFI Live next week when I get back in town. The tune sounds like what I'm looking for.

Eric placed 2nd in the Morgan Co. Ohio Pro Street Diesel class on Wednesday night. That's right folks, 2nd place in Pro Street with a stock truck. He was the only duramax in attendance.:rockon: *Not bad for a "California Tune" with some Ohio thrown in.

thanks guys now if we could figure out how to data log without the computer... the tune felt great and ran very strong.... i liked it but it needs some work down low.... i think i could use more fuel up top too but i think im at the limits....we need to get a good data log and get it to mcrat... the guy that is usually very competitive in the street class that my cousin and i pull in he got 3rd i put 13 feet on him!!!

all yeah and this cali tune does work in OHIO

i think maybe if i had a good lift pump and built tranny maybe even a e-locker i would have been alot closer to the dodge that won...it was definately a power track and the sled pulled hard... all well coulda shoulda woulda i guess

works fine for me on both IE and Firefox. It loads a bit slow but still works. Anyone else have problems?

Nope, still the same tune as before. I haven't really had time to do anything with the trucks lately. I do plan on playing around with it in the next couple weeks though, but by then McRat will hopefully have something that has been dyno tuned for us.
